Tomato & Red Onion Salad

I love fresh tomatoes! The other day we were grilling out, and I wanted to make a healthy veggie salad. Looking around my kitchen, I found tomatoes, and red onion. Such a great combo!
  • one pint tomatoes 
  • one medium red onion
  • 1/4 cup olive oil 
  • 1 teaspoon basil 
  • salt & pepper to taste

  1. cut tomatoes in to thirds
  2. cut red onion into slivers
  3. mix 1/4 cup olive oil, 1 teaspoon basil, and salt and pepper in mixing bowl
  4. chill for about 20 minutes in refrigerator 
  5. serve and enjoy!
