Traveling Virginia | Bealeton

Looking for something fun to do during the spring? Pick strawberries - duh. I have never, ever picked strawberries. I did some research - I research everything - called a few places, and picked my destination. Messick's Farm Market located in Bealeton, Virginia. It was such a nice drive! The farm is located in Fauquire County off Route 28. Messick's was very easy to locate, and the staff was really nice!

They grow such a variety of fruits, and veggies. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, asparagus, pepper, and potatoes just to name a few.

This is such a fun activity to do with the family! Now it's time to make some strawberry jam!

  4. Your blog is adorable! I love homemade jam. I was somewhat spoiled growing up- we never had store bought jam. I thought that was just normal to have it homemade! I've now turned into somewhat of a jam snob!
