30 days of yoga

Only a couple of days until the 1st of September, and it's National Yoga Month! I decided to get back onto the mat with a 30 day yoga challenge. I miss doing yoga daily, and I felt great doing it. I noticed when I was doing yoga on a regular basis I felt amazing, and I was motivated. Yoga also helped me when I was running on a regular basis. I felt more balanced, and it helped with my breathing.

I decided to start 30 Days of Yoga using Yoga with Adriene on YouTube. Adriene has great videos for all levels, and they are FREE! Check out day one here ←  I have also registered for hot yoga classes at my local studio to help with flexibility.

I really miss how I felt accomplishing poses I never thought I would be able to do. I remember when I thought I could never do a headstand, or get into scorpion pose. The feeling of accomplishing those goals made me want to keep going. Yoga also helped me gain upper body strength, and my arms looked amazing!

  2. When buying yoga clothes the key word is comfort. You need to be able to comfortably move and bend without the clothes being so tight they stop you, but they need to be tight enough so you don't trip on them. http://bit.ly/2F5YRjD
